Today, in Peru there is the second round of presidential elections. Peruvians are choosing between far-left teacher Pedro Castillo and right-wing politician Keiko Fujimori. Even though on Sundays is still an immobilization, the city of Cusco was full of cars and people coming from their homes to polling places. It is obvious that Peruvians take elections seriously. You could see some elders wearing suits or people that struggle to walk, but they came and vote anyway. Taxis and buses were also quite busy. A big part of Peruvian elections are food stands where you could buy fresh orange juice, fruits, deep-fried parts of pork like chicks, ears, neck, rice, chicken, potatoes, etc.
